The final say is with the developer and, sadly, CS6/Acrobat Pro XI are unsupported 'old' applications these days. Decades ago was released the Photoshop 1.0, now it’s come a long way towards the Photoshop CS6. For the best photo retouching job, there’s no better option than the Adobe Photoshop software series. By default, files you download can be found in your Downloads folder in Windows and Mac. Download Adobe Photoshop CS6 to Retouch Photos like a Pro. Won't be moving OS until I have to! What makes it worse is that I checked with Apple that Big Sur would run ALL 64-bit applications, but this is NOT the case. Double-click the Bit Torrent Client install file. Just happy to be back in Mojave with everything working again. I had the same problem with Acrobat Pro XI but if and when I have to move to Big Sur (or later), Readdle's 64-bit PDF Expert for Mac seems to do everything I need. I am exploring whether I can use Skylum Luminar, Affinity, or DxO instead. As an amateur Photographer (and being retired) I can't justify the CC subscription when CS6 does all, and more, than I need. I had a real problem reverting to Mojave from TimeMachine but got there in the end with telephone support one Sunday from Apple in Dublin. Unfortunately, Adobe Company has completely refused to create the products of CS line-up recently. It can also run in 32-bit mode on Windows platforms, including Windows XP (although Photoshop Extended’s 3D features and some GPU-accelerated functions are not available on XP). I guess there are 32-bit parts in the Application Libraries or elsewhere. Photoshop CS6 runs 64-bit native on Mac OS X, Microsoft ® Windows Vista ®, and Windows ® 7 platforms. The file extension is hidden by default but will automatically match the format selected in the Format pop-up. Update to Photoshop 21.x or Photoshop 20.0.7. Looking in 'About this Mac' shows Adobe Photoshop CS6 as 64-bit. In Photoshop 20.0.6, changing the file format does not change the extension of the file in the name field.
